Himiway Big Dog combines the new 48V 20Ah Samsung/LG battery technology with a 5000mAh single cell capacity—smaller size but larger diversity. Compared with 3500mAh cells made of nickel, cobalt, and manganese, this 960Wh battery efficiently improves the range, stability, and safety of Himiway bikes. A single charge can last up to 60 miles on pure electric power and over 80+ miles with pedal assist. The battery will maintain 80% capacity after 1000 charges. The integrated battery design helps maintain capacity and can reduce mechanical failures in even the most extreme weather conditions by up to 95%.

This is my second E-Bike. For the money, the Big Dog has some advantages and delivery was much faster than expected. Overall, the quality is excellent! All parts are solid and perform easily and as designed. The comfort package is amazingly comfortable. I highly recommend it. The low center of gravity (compared to my full size tire E-bike) makes a big difference in balance/handling giving my 5' 100 lb wife much more confidence on handling a heavy bike. I also like the quick release adjustable height handlebars. Allows the bike to fit riders of a wide range of heights. Some areas of improvement include allowing the throttle to work when the pedal assist is set at zero. My other bike has that and it comes in handy when on pedal power but need a short burst. (Have to put pedal assist on before throttle works.) Screen is not very intuitive or user friendly. You have to have a manual to know what setting you are changing if trying to adjust electronic controls. Lastly i would also recommend allowing the key to be removed when powered on. Having to take the key out and back in when stopping on a ride (for security) is a bit clunky. Leaving key in is not necessary since you can turn the bike on and off with electronic control.

This bike is awesome! I have had it for about 6 weeks and I have just over 300 miles on it. There have been 0 issues with the bike from assembly to now. I have been over many different terrain types and the bike handled beautifully on all of them. I feel very comfortable and safe on the Himiway. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone seeking to purchase a fat tire work horse e-bike
After I went on a long ride, and learned how to ride it better, I love it. I didn’t need to buy the up graded seat, as I am 5’3 and the seat was to high for me. I had to buy a different post from Amazon, and then I could have the seat all the way down. I still need to find a different seat, as this one just isn’t working for me. I feel like it would have been a hole lot easier if it came with the standard seat plus the up graded one that you had to pay extra for. I think that it was a little heavy for me, but after I get going it is fine. It is a new adventure for my husband and I. We are in our 60’s
Easy to unpack and assemble. Reading the manual first is a must to get all the elements to work together. The first ride was great. Stayed on low-traffic side streets and got used to handling the weight. It is 72lbs. but is easy once you have some practice. Over the next week, rode 75 miles in lots of hills before I decided to recharge the batteries. There was still some battery charge left but wanted to have more charge for another longer trip. Bought a second charger and cut the charge time in half.
