     The Rocky Road 48 Volt Lithium Powered Electric Fat Tire Mountain Bicycle is a Lithium Battery powered Electric Bicycle cranking out 500 Watts from the Bafang High Torque Zero Resistance Clutch Motor.  This bike features a lightweight, compact lithium LiPo4 48 volt 10.4 Ah integrated battery pack providing a considerable amount of power greater than our 24 volt or 36 volt models.

     This bike comes with everything Aluminum - every bolt, every nut, every nipple, every spoke.  That means no rust!   The 100% hand welded lightweight aluminum frame bicycle has Atlus Shimano 9-Speed Gears & Shifting System, oversized MOZO Front Hyrdraulic Suspension & KS Rear Shock Suspension, aluminum rims with quick release axle on the front and a water proof quick disconnect on the rear and oversized Kenda 26 x 4.0 tires.

    The Rocky Road comes standard with a 48 Volt 10. Ah Lithium LiPo4 battery.   We now offer the option to purchase an upgrade to your Rocky Road to ship with a 48 Volt 17 Ah Lithium LiPo4 which allows for an increased 60-65% distance.    This means you can get up to an additional 115 per charge (*depends on rider weight and terrain).

    The Rocky Road comes equipped with the King Meter 5 Speed Smart Power Assist System (SPAS) with a USB Phone Charging Port.  The electronics of the X-Treme Electric Bicycle are controller via rider input on the LCD screen attached to the handlebars.  Smart PAS with 5 speeds will enable the bike to operate nearly twice as efficient as a non-smart assist e-bike, because you select the power consumption (speed controls 1-5 setting) on the LCD during your ride.  This feature will allow your Rocky Road 48 Volt to possibly reach or get as far as 70+ per charge when using low SPAS while always pedal assisting on flat ground under perfect conditions with a light weight rider.  The LCD also indicates Speed, Distance and Battery Life.

    The Rocky Road 48 Volt Lithium Powered Electric Mountain Bicycle is faster than any model we sell.  It has been tested climbing a 5-7% mountain grade continuously for 45 minutes while having to slow down for hair pin turns.

    Front & rear Tektro disk brakes are standard on the Rocky Road 48 Volt Electric Mountain Bicycle along with true VELO Brand Hand Grips & Mountain Bike Seat.

    What Should I Do If My Order Is Damaged?

    All of our manufacturers thoroughly inspect each item before it is shipped. However, please make sure you also inspect your item(s) when it arrives before you sign for it. If you see any visible damages, please sign for the item as "Damaged" and retain a copy of the bill/receipt.

    After that, please contact us and we'll help you file a claim with the manufacturer. All damage claims are handled directly by our manufacturers.

    How Can I Return My Item(s)?

    If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we will help you with the return.

    Our manufacturers' return policies last between 7 and 30 days . Unfortunately, if the manufacturer's return policy time has gone by, we won't be able to process a return for you. If you contact us within the manufacturers allowed return time, we'll be able to help you return your item(s).

    Please note that all returns are subject to a 15%-25% restocking fee by our manufacturers. The customer is also responsible for the cost of shipping the item(s) back.

    To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition you received it in. You must also keep the original packaging of the item(s).

    Please don't return the item(s) before you contact us. To initiate a return, please contact us first and we'll help you with the return.

    All returns must be initiated with our manufacturers. After that, you'll receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number from our manufacturer. You can proceed with the return after.

    After the manufacturer receives the item(s), they will inspect it. If it's in a unused, new sell-able condition, we'll issue you a refund to your original payment method within 3-5 days. 

    Important:

    - Please make sure you use tracked shipping when you return the item.

    - Please make sure you receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number first before you return your item(s).

    Can I Cancel My Order?

    To ensure our customers receive their item(s) in a timely manner, we usually process orders as soon as we receive them. We process the majority of orders we receive in about 12 hours after purchase.

    If your order is processed, but not shipped yet and you want to cancel it, you will be subject to $100 administrative fee. 

    If your order is already shipped when you want to cancel it, you can follow the steps in the "Return" section. You will be subject to a 15%-25% restocking fee by our manufacturer + the shipping cost of returning the item(s).

    12 Month (ONE YEAR) Warranty & Lifetime Frame Warranty models (Effective June 1st, 2018):

    X-Treme offers a standard ONE Year limited warranty against manufacturer defect and workmanship on all model bicycles and their components that are purchased directly from X-Treme or an authorized Dealer.  Original purchase receipt is required to establish proof of purchase and establish warranty start date.

     

    Your warranty will be void if any modifications are made to the original design of the bike. X-Treme will NOT offer a warranty on any products purchased from second hand sellers, non-authorized Dealers, products that are purchased used or products that are purchased via outlet centers.  X-Treme will, however, offer free lifetime technical support access on these products & if parts are needed those parts may be purchased direct from X-Treme.  

     

    Your warranty begins the day the bicycle is delivered to you.  This warranty covers manufacturer defects and defaults only. We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user or by any other event. We will pay for standard shipping service costs on the first & second warranty shipment only.   Any additional warranty parts that are needed will require the customer to pay all shipping costs.  

     

    All replacement parts are warrantied until the end of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty Period.   If you receive your replacement part within the last month of the warranty, your replacement part will be warrantied for 30 Days from delivery of the replacement part.

     

    We do offer additional warranties for purchase to extend your warranty period.   Available for purchase are ONE Year Extended Warranty and LIFETIME Extended Warranty.  Yes! We will offer the option to extend your warranty for the entire life of your bicycle!   No other brand offers this extensive warranty.     ONE Year Manufacturer Extended Warranty
    This covers your bicycle from manufacturer defect and workmanship of all components for ONE Year after your original warranty ends. Batteries will be warrantied on a pro-rated basis. . Shipping & Handling is not included, beyond the original standard warranty, and will be the responsibility of the customer.
    This warranty begins the day after your original warranty ends.
    Not available for model: City Rider or any Scratch & Dent model.


    LIFETIME Extended Warranty

    This covers your bicycle from manufacturer defect and workmanship of all components for the entire LIFE of your bicycle. Batteries will be warrantied on a pro-rated basis. Warranty is limited to not exceed one set of tires per year unless there is manufacturer defect. Tube replacement will remain at X-Treme’s discretion not to exceed sensible amount. Shipping & Handling is not included, beyond the original standard warranty period, and will be the responsibility of the customer.

     

    BATTERY WARRANTY

    We offer a full ONE Year warranty on all bicycle batteries to the original purchaser.  Your battery is warranted for any manufacturer defect in material or workmanship.   The battery will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Original proof of purchase is required to establish proof of purchase and warranty effective date.

     

    X-Treme requires that defective batteries be returned to us for repair or exchange.  X-Treme does not pay the shipping fees to return the batteries to us however we will pay to ship the batteries back to you. A friendly representative will get back to you quickly. Our support department hours are Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM PST.

    Rear Suspension

    Love the bike, but rear suspension is super stiff. Looks like its adjustable, but always too stiff. I can only get about 1/2 inch of travel when off the bike pushing down on the seat with all my mite. Might as well be a hard-tail. I also changed the seat. Stock seat is too wide to get thighs around it to move body weight back for drops or steep downhills. Customer service at Let's E-bike was excellent!!

    Wow, this ride packs some power. I had it assembled, and charged up the battery not really sure what to expect. This bike takes off nicely, I rode for about 15 miles and I still had tons of juice left. Turned out even better than expected!

    Amazing!

    They put a lot of thought on user-friendliness on this bike which is not done often enough. Comfortable handlebars and seat, easy shifting, reliable construction and most importantly the pedal assist and throttle functions are amazing and let you go distances I could not otherwise and lets me catch my 2nd breath. Highly recommend.
